TCSD Using Traversa Ride 360 to Determine Bussing Eligibility

Elementary students who live more than 1.5 miles away and secondary students who live more than 2 miles away from their boundary school are eligible to ride the school bus. The Tooele County School District Transportation Department is using Traversa Ride 360 to view a student’s eligibility for bussing.

2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR Free/Reduced Meal Application

Every family is encouraged to fill out the free and reduced meal application that can be accessed through the family Skyward account. Step by step instructions are available at tooeleschools.org/apps/pages/FR-apply. Please contact the Child Nutrition Office at [email protected] or 435-833-1920 for more information.

Online payments for meals can be made at payschoolscentral.com.

August 9 - Registration for New and Current Students is Open

As of Aug. 9, 2022 Families should have received an email to login to Skyward Family Access, (please check junk email if it did not go to your main email box). If you are a returning student and did not receive an email, we likely do not have your current contact information. Please contact your school for assistance. New Student Registration is now open. Click on the link on the front of the website.

TCSD welcomes new leadership for 2022-2023

Tooele County School District is pleased to announce new administration for the 2022-23 school year. Two of the administrators are new to the TCSD and 17 are moving into new roles within the district.

Summer Feeding 2022

Tooele County School District is honored to provide free meals this summer for children 18 and younger and anyone with a disability. The Federally funded 2022 Summer Food program will begin on June 1 and run through August 12. Menus can be found at https://tooeleschools.nutrislice.com.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month - Together, we can realize a vision where anyone affected by mental illness can receive the appropriate support and quality of care to live healthy, fulfilling lives - where no one feels alone in their struggle. Mental Illnesses are brain-based conditions that affect thinking, emotions, and behaviors. Since we all have brains, having some kind of mental health problem during your life is not uncommon. Earth Day 2022

According to Earthday.Org, on April 22, 1970, 20 million Americans protested for a healthy, sustainable environment. By the end of that year, the first Earth Day had led to the creation of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the passage of the Clean Air, Clean Water, and Endangered Species Acts. Fifty-two years later, the annual Earth Day celebration continues. Earthday.Org’s theme for this year is “Invest In Our Planet.”

A work session is intended to provide opportunities for board members to study issues in-depth, gather and analyze information, and clarify situations and potential solutions. The Board will not make decisions or take any action during a work session. While open to the public, these sessions are more informal than the regular board meeting.
